Snoring - LAUP

Laser assisted uvula palato-pharyngoplasty procedure (LAUP) can offer significant improvements for patients struggling with the serious problem of snoring. Swiftlase C02 laser technology is used to trim and reshape the uvula and soft palate which can be a primary factor in snoring. Midwest Laser Centre was one of the first Centres in Canada to introduce this procedure. LAUP's have a high success rate for those patients deemed to be suitable candidates. The procedure is performed in the office and offers the additional advantage of a reduced recovery time in comparison to other methods available.
