Tattoo Removal

Laser treatment removes tattoo ink with light energy emitted in short flashes called pulses. These pulses are emitted at a specific wavelength that targets the pigment in tattoo ink. Light energy is absorbed by the ink, which causes it to breakdown and be flushed away in the body's natural filtering system. Tattoos can be effectively treated with no adverse affect to surrounding skin as it is the ink pigment that is selectively targeted by the light energy.
