Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)

A procedure that uses the application of Levulan, a topical photosensitizing agent, which is then activated by BLU-light, and in some cases V-beam laser, in order to stimulate the photodynamic process.

Photodynamic therapy is a proven treatment option for:

• Treating sun damaged pre-cancerous spots
• Treating sun damage, fine lines and blotchy pigmentation
• Minimizing pore size and reducing oil glands
• Treating acne vulgaris, acne rosacea and improving the appearance of some acne scars
