  • We offer injections for Migraines, TMJ, and Hyperhidrosis.

  • Botox (onabotulinumtoxinA) is used to treat chronic migraines because it can reduce the frequency, severity, and duration of migraine attacks in people who meet specific criteria. Botox treats chronic migraine by blocking neurotransmitter release and dampening peripheral and central sensitization involved in migraine generation.
    It is an evidence-based preventive option for adults with chronic migraines, especially for those who have not benefited from oral preventives, and is administered via standardized injections every 12 weeks by trained clinicians.

  • Botox (onabotulinumtoxinA) is used to treat excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) because it blocks the chemical signals from nerves that stimulate sweat glands.
    Injected into the skin of areas such as the underarms, palms or soles, Botox temporarily prevents glands from producing sweat, reducing moisture and associated social or functional problems.
    Effects typically begin within a few days and last about four to twelve months, after which repeat treatments are needed. The procedure is minimally invasive, well tolerated, and is an option when topical treatments are ineffective.

  • Botox is used to treat temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders primarily by reducing muscle hyperactivity and breaking the pain/muscle tension cycle.

  • We require a referral from a medical provider indicating that you are looking for injection treatment. It is your responsibility to examine your second-party insurance coverage and send us any paperwork ahead of your scheduled initial consultation.
    Please advise our staff if you have no second party insurance coverage for the treatment area.

  • Migraine: The patient is responsible for any remainder of payment to the pharmacy that is not covered by an insurance plan + a $250 plus GST injection fee due at the time of the injections.

    Hyperhidrosis: Patients with a valid Saskatchewan Health card may qualify for EDS coverage. This form is filled out and submitted at our initial consultation. EDS covers three treatments per calendar year (minimum 16 weeks plus 1 day apart.)

    TMJ: The patient is responsible for any remainder of payment to the pharmacy that is not covered by an insurance plan + a $250 plus GST injection fee due at the time of the injections.

    All second party insurance forms to be filled out have a fee of $75 plus GST.
